Nuno Paulino \u00e9 mestre em Engenharia Eletrot\u00e9cnica e de Computadores, desde 2011, pela Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, e Doutor em Engenharia Eletrot\u00e9cnica e de Computadores desde 2015, pela mesma institui\u00e7\u00e3o. \u00c9 Investigador Auxiliar no INESC TEC desde 2015, na \u00e1rea de Tecnologias \u00d3ticas e Eletr\u00f3nicas (OET), especificamente em computa\u00e7\u00e3o heterog\u00e9nea e reconfigur\u00e1vel, arquiteturas de computadores, e em linguagens e ferramentas para design hardware\/software. Desde 2017 \u00e9 tamb\u00e9m Professor Auxiliar Convidado<\/a> na Faculdade de Engenharia, pelo Departamento de Engenharia Inform\u00e1tica (DEI).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Joana Tavares<\/a><\/strong>

Joana Tavares completed her Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2012 and the Doctoral Program in Telecommunications (MAP-tele) in 2021, both at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). She has been a researcher since 2014 in the Optical and Electronic Technologies (OET) group at the INESC TEC Center for Telecommunications and Multimedia (CTM). Her main research interests include the simulation of optical communication systems, nonlinearities compensation in optical fibers, and antenna arrays, namely the synthesis of radiation patterns and beamforming techniques. She is currently an invited assistant professor at FEUP in the disciplines of Electromagnetic Waves and Fundamentals of Telecommunications.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Nuno Pereira<\/strong><\/a>

Nuno Pereira (PhD, U. Minho, 2010; orcid.org\/0000-0001-6370-9373) is a Professor at the School of Engineering of the Polytechnic of Porto (ISEP). He is currently working on the infrastructure needed to create Mixed Reality distributed applications that seamlessly span the Cloud and Edge. Between 2019-2022, he was a Visiting Scholar at Carnegie Mellon. Nuno had relevant contributions to 12 research projects (European and National), published more than 60 technical papers, and served in technical program committees of numerous scientific events.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jo\u00e3o Loureiro<\/strong><\/a>

Jo\u00e3o Pedro Loureiro received an MSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Porto (FEUP). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering and working as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Telecommunications and Multimedia (CTM) at INESC TEC (Porto, Portugal). His research interests include underwater networks and maritime communications.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Luis Pereira<\/strong><\/a>

Lu\u00eds Fernandes is a Biomedical Engineering master’s graduate from ISEP in 2021. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student at FEUP. His research primarily focuses on Deep Learning models for the segmentation and classification of lung cancer, showcasing a pragmatic approach to the integration of technology in healthcare. Lu\u00eds has also explored areas such as Explainable AI and Object Detection in his professional journey. His commitment to practical applications underscores a measured and purpose-driven approach to leveraging artificial intelligence in the field of medical imaging.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
